X-ray Toolkit¶

The X-ray Toolkit groups SAXSShell's small estimate windows under one Tools menu section:

Open Volume Fraction Estimate
Open Number Density Estimate
Open Attenuation Estimate
Open Fluorescence Estimate

Open these utilities from Tools > X-ray Toolkit in the main SAXS UI.

What this section is for¶

These tools are lightweight helpers for quick calculations that support project setup, experiment planning, or interpretation of solution conditions. They are useful when you need a fast estimate without launching a larger project-backed workflow.

Current scope¶

Unlike project-backed tools such as PDF Calculation, Electron Density Mapping, or Debye-Waller Analysis, the X-ray Toolkit windows are intended as focused calculators rather than long-lived saved analysis workspaces.
