All launch modes use Docker. The default uses a prebuilt native app without host Python, Node or Rust. Browser mode also needs no build tools; only the optional native source build needs desktop prerequisites. Check available native bundles and how to reopen each mode.

The workspace runs locally. Research uses your connected model provider and public sources; available evidence and structures vary by topic.
